Five Suns Digital LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates The Appraisal Room mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Email address — collected when you create an account or sign in with Google
• Password — stored securely and encrypted by Supabase authentication services; we never have access to your plaintext password
• Item details — text descriptions you optionally enter when submitting an appraisal (e.g. measurements, materials, markings)
• Notes — optional text notes you add to saved appraisals in your history

1.2 Photos and Images

When you use The Appraisal Room to appraise an item, you submit one or more photographs. Please be aware of the following:

• Photos are transmitted securely to Anthropic, Inc. (our AI provider) for processing and item identification
• Photos are not permanently stored on our servers after the appraisal is processed
• Thumbnail versions of your photos are stored in your account database to display in your appraisal history
• Do not photograph items that include personal identifying information, financial documents, or other sensitive materials
